![]() I had the MAC users update to 10.10.4, tuned applications for CS6, installed access connect, etc, tweaked the DS write setting, etc. Its transparent to Windows users, if you really want to test create a dummy Windows share, stick stuff in it and then add to Acorns and voila. Just click create and point to the share you want and configure manually However as all IT people know 'wizards' etc are the work of the Devil It just allows them to be share during AFP It doesn't affect them in any way to a normal Windows user. If you Import the Shares it just brings the Windows Share into the Acornis Management application. What if I only want to use 1 or 2 the Windows shares? How does it import the shares? Does it duplicate the data? Does it make a link that a MAC can understand? I really need to satisfy those concerns before making any data active in the Acronis application. I already have live data on the Windows server and would not want to have it be wiped out by an incorrect configuration. I have decided to try that but I am worried about how to 'import' or 'create' volumes. I have only just run into this problem and have spent the better part of a week trying every suggestion here except for the Acronis software.
